LoveMagick – Baking Bread and Romance

All young girls and young women have heard that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. This put an interesting new spin on that idea.

The simple act of baking has been used as a sacred ritual since human being first learned to heat food over an open flame. Today this art is called Kitchen Witchery and it has a loyal following.

Breads and other grain products are the ones most often chosen for kitchen magick simply because of their ancient associations with unity and magickal timing. Grain products have been sacred to many deities all around the world, with harvest and threshing times often marking the dates of ancient holiday. The phrase “breaking bread together” ha been used to umbolize unity, friendship and familial bonds, and has also been the basis for many spells designed to attract romance.

An English spell that is alo popular in the southern Appalachian Mountains tells us to bake a loaf of bread where the name of our desired love  has either been carved onto the dough prior to or during the baking. As the loaf bakes, the baker should it near the stove, mentally pouring the energy of their desired outcomes into the bread. When this magickally charged loaf is shared between the baker and their desired mate, an engagement is almost a certainty.

Love Magick – Yarrow For Love and to Find Your Soulmate

 

In Old Scotland, the herb yarrow is thought to have the power to bind two hearts together as one. So, it is a natural item to use in love spells.  According to customs, if the yarrow is placed beneath the mattress of a couple when they make love, they will become soulmates and their love will last for eternity. You can also add yarrow to your bath, when you bathe together. This will bind you so that – if you believe in another life – you will recognize each other in a future incarnation.

• The nature of the spell – manipulative

• Time needed – a few minutes or all night
• The best time – a full moon and any night of the week

Love Magick Looking for Signs of Love

Most little girls and older girls have played the “he loves me, he loves me not” game with a flower. For the guys reading this — you pick a flower and as you pull one petal at a time, you say “He loves me” and as you pick the next petal, you say “He loves me not”. This torture continues until all the petals are gone or you throw the flower down in disgust Yes – it is one of those silly things we do to ask the “love gods” if a guy loves us. Some people think it is full of frustration, while others think it is full of intrigue.

However, today let’s talk about how to combine this with a little white love magick….

I’ll share various “love spells” from time to time. They are all simple and I hope you have a little fun with them – whether you think you can actually cast a spell or not. So – whether you cast a spell or not, you can learn some helpful tidbits from this post. I want you to keep your eyes and ears open when you are around the object of your desire. Look for subtle signs that they are interested in you — or not.

There are four areas to watch:

• The Eyes
• What is Said
• What isn’t Said
• What is Done

The Eyes

We’re always told not to stare, but when the person you are interested in, is caught watching you, this is a good thing. If they look at you and you can “hold their eyes” this is good – even better if its for more than a moment or two. Return the look and hold their gaze for a couple of moments, to let them know you’re interested too.

What is Said

If you have a trusted and subtle friend, see what kind of information they can find. Subtle is my recommendation, otherwise this can sound like something from middle school and that’s not the goal. For people who don’t have a friend who can do this, just keep your ears open and see what you can find out yourself. Also pay attention to what the person says to you personally and when they know you are listening. Don’t try to read between the lines and make up crazy interpretations. Just listen to the words and take things at face value.

What isn’t Said

We all know how hard it can be to seak up to a new love interest. This can be a fear of failure or rejection. When a person is very tongue tied around you or very shy, this can mean they are interested in you. But keep in mind it could also mean they don’t want to talk to you

What is Done

You’ve heard the saying “Actions speak louder than words”. That is especially true here. Watch their body language – do they lean close to you? Do they turn toward you? Is there stance “open” to you? Do they touch your arm or hand softly? Did they shake your hand and hold it a little longer than everyone else? All of these things can be indications that they like you.

In conclusion, whether you use a white magick love spell or not – use your common sense and look for signs that the person does or doesn’t like you.

Love Magick – Love Spell to Find a Lover

This is a spell that should be done on a Friday night at the completion of the full moon…..

Every Friday night coming to completion on a full moon Friday night, throw salt on an open fire with your right hand while speaking these words:

“It is not salt I turn to fire , but the heart of the man/woman I seek.
Let him have no peace of mind until he come to me”.

This spell must be cast three times on each occasion. On the third occasion the wording should be altered slightly to:

“It is not the salt I turn to fire, but the heart of the man/woman I seek.
He/she shall have no peace of mind until he/she come to me”.

This ends the spell. The person sought usually appears within a few weeks.

Love Magick – Purple Passion of Violets

Starting today, I’m adding a new feature to this blog. A week or two ago I was looking at random used books — yes, I love books While I was looking through the titles, I found Bewitchments: Love Magick for Modern Romance. Time Frame: 15 minutes

Best Timing: Full moon, Monday

Take a handful of freshly plucked violet buds and toss them haphazardly in front of you while thinking of romance and they will fall into a pattern that suggests the name or initials of your future mate. This spell can be enhanced if you do it in the face of a gentle west wind.
