Review – Calypso 7 Speed Massager (CalExotics)

The latest item I got from CalExotics is the Calypso 7 Speed Massager. The shape and appearance of this item is very unique and how can you go wrong with 7 speeds.  We’re all familiar with the usual vibrators – but there are so many other stimulating options for individuals and couples.

The Calypso has a unique shape which is great to use yourself or with a partner to stimulate just about any erogenous zone for both of you. Remember that you can use toys on any part of the body — don’t just focus on the genital areas. You have erogenous zones all over your body and so does your partner.

One of the first things I noticed about the Calypso is the “soft silicone pleasure nubs” – well I call it the scrubby surface That feels good and stimulating to any part of the body and with the 7 different settings, you can definitely find a setting that feels good for all locations on the body and also easily change it to fit your changing mood and as you become more aroused…..

I did have a little trouble figuring out how to work the controls — but you see the small button on the right side, just push that to change the setting and this was the complicated part – hold down on the button to turn it off. The part shown on the right comes off so you can put the batteries in — it is a very snug fit, but it does slide apart.

Let’s Get Down to the Nitty Gritty with the Master Sexpert Tips -

Always clean your toys thoroughly before and after you play and especially on the “pleasure nubs” – but this one doesn’t appear to be waterproof

If you use the Calypso anywhere near the anus, clean it before playing near the vagina.

Use your imagination and be very creative with this toy. The shape is great for using on your own body or your partner’s – and you can use the side with the nubs, the end or the other side. However you choose to use it – the goal is to stimulate yourself and/or your partner.

• You can use lube with this to help it slide across the body easier – but keep it away from the opening for the batteries.

Sex Toy Review – Couture Collection Bliss Egg

Last month I did a review for the Couture Collection Calypso I and this toy can be used in a very similar manner. This is wireless which makes it a bit more flexible and easier to play with – with your partner. This toy is available in blue and pink — mine is blue, so the picture is accurate

I will tell you that there is an instruction booklet – in a variety of languages and an adapter on the charger. There are several pieces to this toy: the egg, the charging base, the remote control, it comes with 1 rechargeable battery and the charger cord.

You will need to charge the egg before using it for the first time. While it is charging, there is a red light on the egg and when its ready to go – the light turns green. Then, push the small button on the top to turn it on – when you’re finished, push the button and hold  till the red light shines on the egg.

Okay – once the egg is charged, you’re ready to play. The egg is a nice size and it fits well in the palm of my hand. This makes it great to use all over your partner’s body – to stimulate all their erogenous zones. There are 7 different pulses and vibrations – so no matter how much power or intensity you and your partner want, you will be able to find it with this toy. 

The egg has the  Satin Finish™ which makes it very easy to run over your partner’s body. This is especially true when you use your favorite lube.  You can use this vibrating and pulsing egg on your partners, neck, on their back, on their chest, their nipples, on their butt, on their perineum (the million dollar spot), and around various parts of their genitals — just remember that you will likely want different vibration and pulses as you move it to various parts of your partner’s body. There is also a “retreival cord” in case you get a little too enthusiastic and it gets out of your fingers. Keep in mind that you can lose toys in your partner’s body – so be careful and use the cord to maintain control. Sex Toy Review – Calypso 1 (Couture Collection from CalExotics)

This is a unique little toy – which has a powerful vibrator in it. This isn’t a toy that only has one or two uses — this is one where you can really use your imagination and I’d love to hear your ideas on this one.

This is small and the exterior is silicone, so its silky smooth. My first idea was that you can use this anywhere you would use your hand or where your partner would use their hand, their hand or their tongue.

Imagine if you see your partner moving their hand toward your neck, your chest, or between your legs and then suddenly in addition to their touch, you also feel this vibrator. It fits very nicely between your fingers or can be cupped in the palm of your hand.

It also feels very nice used on all areas of his or her breasts — and on your nipples. The pulse or escalation is a very nice sensation on nipples… just give it a try.

I asked a friend for their thoughts and he had a great suggestion that I have to share. This vibrator has about a 3′ cord which attaches to the master control. His suggestion was to let one person hold the vibrator and move it on their partner’s body – while the person receiving – controls the vibration. Sounds like fun to me.

The Calypso 1 is waterproof, so you can use this on yourself or your partner in the tub, the shower or the hot tub. You could certainly give your partner a pleasant surprise under the water with this.

This can also be used to play with your partner’s anus – could be a good way to test their sensitivity without inserting anything into the anus and to gauge their reactions to anal play.

I do have a complaint about this toy. The controller is very pretty and comes in pink or blue depending on which one you buy.  But the buttons are hard to find and push. They aren’t raised at all and its very easy to click the wrong one or neither one. Would be very nice if the buttons were easier to feel.

Sex Toy Review – Lia Dual Stimulator Tickle Tip

Recently I reviewed the Lia Wand (CalExotics) and the Pearl G Spot Massager (Pipedream) – both are shaped quite a bit like the Lia Dual Stimulator. However, there are a couple of distinct differences.  All three of these have features that will stimulate your G-spot. The tip of the first two are tilted toward the G-Spot, the Lia Wand has a flexible tip, while the Pearl has a firm tip for G-Spot massage. I liked both of these toys – they both have interesting features – depending on the type of stimulation and massage that each person likes.

There are some distinct variations in the Lia Dual Stimulator. Let’s start with the clitoral stimulator tip. Its the usual “rabbit” shape, but the tip has two tips that vibrate and stimulate your clitoris with a tantalizing touch. It feels very good on the clitoris, but this will also tickle and stimulate almost any errogenous zone. If you can angle this toy in a way that lets these tips touch your skin, it will massage you in a very nice way. Master Sexpert Tips –

• Use plenty of lube for clitoral, vaginal, G-spot or especially anal massage
• Never use a toy in the anus and move to the vagina without cleaning it thoroughly first – with toy cleaner or soap and water. This is really important any time, but the character of the tip makes it even more important.
• Be creative – this toy has the usual “rabbit” shape, but you can still turn it and use at slightly different angles to see which feel better for you.  Let your partner try many variations (you have 10 vibrations, pulses etc to use) and let him/her know what you like better. Then use it on them

Sex Toy Review – Lia Magic Wand

Its time for me to share my review with you – for the Lia Magic Wand. Pink is not  favorite color, but CalExotics keeps sending me fun pink toys, so pink is becoming more positive However I did notice this toy comes in white, pink and my favorite purple.

This is a silicone toy with that wonderful sleek surface that feels so good on your skin. It has a “Extreme Power Motor” that gives you 10 power levels including  vibration, pulses, and escalation options. Whatever your state of arousal – you should be able to find the vibe you want and the power buttons are very easy to operate – making it really easy to change the sensations – depending on your changing  “needs”

This is promoted as  Gspot massager – and the curve and the tip work well to masssage your GSpot – but it has other uses as well. Let me start by telling you the tip is where the vibration is the strongest. This makes it very easy to use it as a clit stimulator if you want. The tip is larger, the vibration is focused in the tip and its flexible – which seems to make it an interesting toy for external stimulation – feels very good on your clitoris, around your breasts and nipples – just play around with it to see which of your erogenous zones will respond to this toy.

Even though this toy is built to stimulate your GSpot – I highly recommend anal play with it — for men or women. Obviously I don’t have  male GSpot – but a man who enjoys anal play should try this out. With the slant of the tip – you can also hold the control end and turn the vibe while its inside to feel even more sensations during your play. Add plenty of lube to the bulb on the tip of this toy and slide it on in – then play with the vibes, pulses and escalations to see what feels best – and remember to change the vibes as you need or want more or less stimulation. If you are a DP fan – (double penetration) – try this along with another favorite toy or use this along with your partner and you can both enjoy the vibes, pulses and escalations – although you may want to take turns with the controls

CalExotic Calla Lily – Sex Toy Review

This is an interesting looking toy and the shaft has a soft and smooth feel to it. It isn’t a hard rubber, which gives a nice feel. There is a nice girth to the shaft – a bit more than many of the toys I’ve gotten in the past. Some people may comment that the shaft is “short” – but it is designed for G-spot stimulation – so it wouldn’t be long. The tip of the shaft is formed to reach the G-spot and there are a wide variety of pulses, speeds and vibrations to give you all sorts of different sensations

I’m not sure I like the “see thru” appearance of this toy but that doesn’t make a difference in how it feels when you’re using it. If you want slow, medium or high vibration – it is all possible but you can also make the tip of the shaft move in a wide variety of ways, directions, and speeds. And, if that’s not enough, there is a clitoral bullet that provides exterior stimulation. The controls are easy to use and I found some interesting new options by pushing the “wrong” controls This toy is also very good for use in the bath. I have several toys that claim to be waterproof – but no matter how tight I close them, the batteries stop working after using them in the water. But the Calla Lily works great in and out of the tub. It is an attractive toy with the pale blue metallic base and is reasonably quiet – although the faster speeds, the louder it is — but the person using it will likely be louder and more vocal as they continue to “turn it up” Enjoy!

Sex Toy Review – Couture Collection

This is a gorgeous toy – I don’t like pink, but its very sleek and great to the touch – hand or other touch It has the same shape as a rabbit, but sort of a dolphin nose tip. At first I didn’t look real close at the other tip – but it swivels – very nice addition to the toy.

The toy has 3 buttons – one is the power button, one control the vibration of the toy and the third controls the rotation of the bigger tip. This is the part that can massage or tap on your G-Spot — like I said above, nice addition to the toy

This is not a cheap toy, but it is very nice quality and just has that luxury toy feel. Yes – you can feel the difference It is also waterproof – for use in the tub, the shower, the hot tub or any other watery scenario that you imagine.

This toy requires 3 AAA batteries and at first I didn’t see a location for the third – but you do need all three to make it work.

I highly recommend this toy for plenty of play with or without a partner.

A few tips -

1 – Play with the tilt of the toy for added stimulation. The smaller tip is a great clitoris massager and stimulator – but you may want to play with the intensity of the vibration — there are a number of intensities and pulses – and also the location of the tip on your body.

2 – If you like a little anal teasing along with your vaginal stimulation – turn the toy around and that smaller tip may give you a little anal play. Again – just play with the toy – to see what areas you can stimulate with the two tips — you know the experimenting with a new toy is half the fun

3 – The toy cleans up very easily and has a wonderful smooth feel on the shaft – very nice feel.

Start the Day with the Couture Collection

Its been really dreary and rainy for the past week at my house. So, I wake up this morning to the sun shining and knew the day was starting off nice. Then, there is a knock at my door.
